FRIENDS OF DOXFORD PARK

Friends of Doxford Park, originally set up as a community group around 2016, became a registered charity in 2022. Supported by our volunteers and working closely with Sunderland City Council, we help maintain and improve the park.

DOXFORD SECRET GARDEN

Doxford Secret Garden, or Doxford (Doxy) Park as it is often known, originally formed part of the estate for what is now called Doxford House. A number of the features that were installed when it belonged to the house can still be found around the park.

We have lots going on in the park and we would love for you to get involved! Whether you want to donate time, money or ideas, you are always welcome. Catch up with one of our park volunteers – easily spotted working hard around the park (in their high visibility tops) to find out more. You could always come along to one of our friendly meetings, contact us through Facebook or use our contact form at the bottom of the page.
